“ We chose this place very last minute before a show at the Tanger Center and informed the staff that we had to be out by a certain time and they were very accommodating. The food was good and the outdoor seating was a little cramped but not too bad. The staff was pretty good, it did take a while for the first server to come over but after that it was all OK. Im not sure if I would come back myself, but if you are looking for a good meal downtown and have tried a variety of locations you would be doing yourself a disservice by not trying this one. ”

“ The food was good. The service was great. I like the decor as well. I do think the food is a little overpriced. The fried oysters are so delicious! The shrimp and grits are scrumptious!!! I highly recommend. Steak risotto was good and the burger was too. Our server was awesome! She was very friendly. I took one star off because the burger and steak wasnt cooked as ordered but it was still delicious! I didnt like the crabdip pita. The drinks were good as well. I will return. I also dont like parking downtown but thats not their fault lol. Overall this is a great restaurant! ”

“ Liberty Oak is truly a hidden gem of downtown Greensboro. The ambiance is peaceful, quaint, and elegant and the servers are absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with smiles and friendly service which definitely set the tone for our entire dining experience. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, and made some great suggestions one of which was the desert we ended up choosing after completing our meal pictured. Our meal was absolutely delicious, and prepared with such freshtasting, flavorful ingredients. Each bite was delectable, delightful, and delicious! “ Such a great experience! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff and excellent food. My gal pal and I both got the salmon and it was amazing! The portion size is so large we both had over half our piece left to bring home. We got the truffle fries based on the waitress recommendation and they were awesome. Theyre not very crunchy for the most part which I know lots of people prefer them that way but I am the exact opposite and love the softer ones. I got the Georgia peach martini and it was delicious as well as strong in a good way. Great location and beautiful patio area and dining room. Will definitely be back! ”

We ordered and were amazed at how fast our food came out, considering it was a a couple of days before Christmas, and there were several larger parties there. Our food was delicious, and the bourbon glaze was out of this world delicious. We cant wait to go back. ”
